Totally banjaxed!

Triple blast and damn. After driving back to Cornwall last night with my badly bruised arm, I decided that 4 am this morning was a perfect time to go to A & E at Treliske. And indeed it was – all was quiet and serene, I went off for an x-ray, the chap took one look at it and said, hm you were right to come in, and there it was – a clear break to my left ulna.

I now have a cartoon style plaster cast on it, can\’t drive for 6 weeks at least and had to be rescued by my lovely friend the Research Doctor who also took me off for lunch at a wonderful garden centre café.

One handed typing is maddeningly slow so that\’s enough of that.

Consolation lunch on me next time we meet. We need to talk publishing proposals and practicalities too. W

Damn right. It will have to be something involving chopsticks – the food, I mean.

I hope the cast is a pretty color at least — lime green or electric pink perhaps?

Not yet. They’ve got a half-cast on to let the swelling go down. I get the pretty one next week – I’ll see if they do purple which is my favourite colour.
